As a business owner experiencing and struggling with the issues of growth, strategy, and people I really needed a right-hand person to help me regain clarity and perspective in order to make critical decisions for the business. I reached out to Paul through his website which read less corporate and more personal than other consultant and mentor websites. From our first meeting, Paul maintained this ethos and not only listened intently to our business challenges but took time out to spend in our business to truly understand the dynamics, before working with me on creating the companies short and long term goals. I met Paul through the Northern Mentoring Programme. At first I was dubious and worried about talking about myself on a one to one basis but from the first session I got on so well with Paul that I couldn't shut up! As my business coach for 3-4 years when I set up Square Peg, Paul helped me to overcome many business hurdles and build up resilience to challenges that occurred.
